Since demand of smart phones was replaced by low and medium 3G smart phone in the fourth quarter of 2011 , resulting in the rapid fall of feature phone orders, but also to hit the MediaTek operating performance ,however in the Middle East, South America, India, Russia and Eastern Europe, such emerging markets are still based on 2.5/2.75G mobile phone products, with the mainland 2.75G smartphone market demand is still steadily growing, recently Taiwan Department of LCD driver IC suppliers revealed that the feature phone orders beginning to return after Chinese Lunar New Year in February 2012.Mainland white card mobile phone companies, preliminary estimates that in 2012 the demand for the feature phone market in the world, is still about 500 million level, while the new mobile phone is more concentrated in the first half of the second quarter, and at the fourth quarter volume shipments grab the markets,the feature phone orders is expected, especially in the fourth quarter of 2011, the industrial chain has melt the risk of an excess inventory, the recent orders should be better, after all, the global mainstream products are still based on 2.5/2.75G feature phone.The recent rapid feature phone orders are expected to inspire with MediaTek, Morningstar to meet target of the maximum amount of standards at the first quarter of fiscal of 2012, and even beyond.Taiwan-based IC design industry specializing in mobile LCD driver IC market said recent continental feature phone orders really start heating,which is strong potential phenomenon since the fourth quarter of 2011, after the Chinese Lunar New Year, a single volume under the mainland feature phone customers had already begun to appear more week by week,it is estimated in March anxious order is expected to continue strengthening, increasing the company's strong performance of the chip in March. |
